You may remember her sister, La Brea… and now it’s Ash’s turn to tell her story. 🥹

Ash spent months running around a steel mill, trying to survive in an environment no dog should ever have to call home. We don’t know everything she experienced during that time, but we know she deserved so much more than simply surviving day after day.

And now?

She gets to learn what it means to actually LIVE.❤️

Ash and La Brea came from the same litter, and just like her sister, Ash is a sweet girl who is still learning to trust the world around her.

She is dog-friendly with dogs of all sizes.. tiny, medium, big… Ash doesn’t discriminate! 🐶💕

She can be shy, and she needs someone who understands that confidence doesn’t happen overnight. She has spent enough of her life having to figure things out on her own. Now she needs someone willing to show her that she is safe.

Because Ash is still building her confidence, a securely fenced-in yard is REQUIRED. 🏡 She needs that safe space to decompress, explore, gain confidence and finally enjoy being a dog.

We aren’t looking for someone who expects Ash to walk into their home and instantly be fearless.

We’re looking for someone who sees the beautiful dog underneath the fear… and is willing to give her the time, patience and love to let her shine. 🌸

Sometimes the dogs who take a little longer to trust you become the ones who love you with their entire hearts. ❤️
