La Brea

🖤 REMEMBER OUR TAR PIT BABY, LA BREA? 🖤

The little girl who came to us with a past we’ll never fully understand… but a future we promised would be completely different. 🥹

Today is a BIG day for our girl because La Brea is getting FIXED! 🎉 And that means she is officially ready to start looking for her forever family! 🏡💕

And let us tell you… this girl is SPECIAL.

La Brea is dog-friendly with ALL sizes ..tiny, medium, big… she doesn’t discriminate! 🐶❤️

She is still a very shy girl, and we’re not going to pretend she magically woke up one day and became the life of the party. She is learning. She is gaining confidence. She is discovering that people can be kind and that the world doesn’t have to be scary.

She just needs someone willing to let her blossom at HER pace. 🌸

Because she is shy, a securely fenced-in yard is REQUIRED. She needs a safe space where she can decompress, explore, gain confidence and learn what it feels like to simply be a dog.

We don’t need someone looking for an instant connection.

We need someone who understands that sometimes the most beautiful love story is the one that takes a little longer to write. ❤️

Who is ready to be the person La Brea has been waiting for?

🏡 Fenced yard required
🐕 Great with dogs of all sizes
💕 Very sweet + shy
🌸 Building confidence every day
✨ Officially ready for adoption!

La Brea’s forever family is out there. We just have to find them.
